Abstract

ABSTRAK

Meningkatnya kekerasan siber di era digital saat ini telah menjadi persoalan serius, terutama dalam masa eksplorasi remaja perempuan. Artikel ini menganalisis poster film "Like & Share" (2022) menggunakan teori semiotika Roland Barthes untuk menggali representasi perempuan sebagai korban kekerasan seksual. Penelitian ini berfokus pada simbol-simbol visual dalam poster yang mencerminkan perlawanan dan proses mencari jati diri dua remaja perempuan, Lisa dan Sarah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis semiotika dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui studi literatur dan analisis visual poster film tersebut. Elemen-elemen visual seperti warna pakaian dan objek di sekitar karakter dianalisis untuk menguraikan makna denotatif, konotatif, dan mitos yang berkaitan dengan karakter tokoh. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa simbol-simbol dalam poster tidak hanya memperdalam karakterisasi tokoh tetapi juga menyampaikan pesan tentang eksplorasi identitas dan ketahanan mereka dalam menghadapi kekerasan seksual.

ABSTRACT

The rise of cyber violence in today's digital era has become a serious issue, especially during the exploration phase of female adolescents. This article analyzes the poster of the film "Like & Share" (2022) using Roland Barthes' semiotics theory to explore the representation of women as victims of sexual violence. This research focuses on the visual symbols in the poster that reflect the resistance and identity search of two teenage girls, Lisa and Sarah. The method used in this study is semiotic analysis with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through literature study and visual analysis of the film poster. Visual elements such as the color of clothing and objects surrounding the characters were analyzed to interpret the denotative, connotative, and mythological meanings related to the characters. The results of the analysis show that the symbols in the poster not only deepen the characterization of the characters but also convey messages about their exploration of identity and resilience in facing sexual violence.
